About me

I am committed to enabling students with dyslexia to achieve their academic goals and life aspirations.

Working as a primary school teacher, in 2011, I embarked upon my dream of becoming a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor. I have since worked as a specialist teacher, assessor and SENCO in independent girls’ schools in Oxfordshire. In April 2022, I began my freelance career as an independent tutor and assessor working privately and in association with schools and charities across Wilshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. I hope to soon introduce the dyslexia hub, offering funded dyslexia training, advice and support to schools.

I live at home with my husband, two children and our pet cat, Lucky.

I love exercise and the outdoors. I love to run, walk, swim, paddle board and kayak.

I have a keen interest in mental well being and aspire to learn more about the relationship between dyslexia and mental health.

I also enjoy crocheting, writing, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
