I am committed to enabling students with dyslexia to achieve their academic goals and life aspirations.
Experience

With over 20 years in education and over 10 years delivering SpLD assessments, I provide expert assessments for dyslexia, dyspraxia (DCD), and features of ADHD. As a former class teacher, specialist educator, and SENCo across primary and secondary schools in both state and independent sectors, I bring a wealth of experience to every assessment.
Beyond assessments, I offer tailored tuition, school support, and expert consultancy, including advisory work with the British Dyslexia Association. My approach focuses on identifying strengths, helping students understand their challenges, and providing practical recommendations for support at school, university, and home.
I empower students and educators to recognise and develop sought-after talents, breaking negative learning cycles and fostering opportunities for success.
I began my freelance career in April 2022, working privately and in association with schools and charities across Wilshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
Alongside my private practice, I now also work as an Advisory Consultant to the British Dyslexia Association.
I hope to soon introduce the dyslexia hub, offering funded dyslexia training, advice and support to schools.
Family

I live at home with my husband and two children.
Interests

I love exercise and the outdoors. I love to run, walk, swim, paddle board and kayak.
I have a keen interest in mental well being and aspire to learn more about the relationship between dyslexia and mental health.
I also enjoy archery, crocheting, writing, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
